What do you really want?
It’s not easy to make any kind of change in life if we don’t first know how it is we’d like things to be different. That might sound like a very obvious statement, but you’d be surprised how many of us find it hard to describe what it is we really want. And then even when we have an idea of what we do want, we can spend a great deal of time thinking – or talking about – what we’d like to change or achieve, but when it actually comes down to the doing bit that’s a whole different story.
Ask yourself these two questions?
You know yourself better than anyone else so take a moment to think about these two questions – and preferably write down your answers.
1 What is it you would really like to change, do or achieve? What is it you really want?
Then ask yourself
2 What currently stops you?
Then think about these two questions?
Looking at your answers ask yourself
1 How much do I really want to change, do or achieve that? Is it something you really want to do, or is it something you feel you should do? How are you feeling as you read what you’ve written – really upbeat and full of energy to get going? Or more of a feeling of dread, anxiousness or fear? Or maybe you’re still thinking about it and finding it hard to describe what you do actually want.
2 When you look at what is currently stopping you, ask yourself the question what would have to happen for this to not be an issue? And then if that isn’t an issue any longer what else might prevent you from achieving what you want? And then what would have to happen for that thing to no longer stop you? What thoughts are coming up as you’re thinking about this, what assumptions are you making about what you believe is possible or not?
Feeling stuck? Book a nudgeme VIP session
These are the sorts of questions people get a chance to think about in a nudgeme VIP session where we spend a half day or one day to focus on what they really want their life to be about. VIP sessions are perfect if you’re feeling you have got stuck in your life, know you want to make a change, but don’t know where to start, achieve a much greater balance in your work or business and personal life or just feel that time’s running out.
The session gives you a chance to stand back for a minute and really take the time to think about all the different aspects that make up your life, and review where you’d like to be. It’s a bit like giving your life a ‘spring clean’, where you can think about what’s most important to you, and overcome any issues, unhelpful thoughts, habits or beliefs, which might be holding you back from achieving the things you really want to. It’s an opportunity to have an independent sounding board to talk things through that matter to you, whilst being gently challenged about assumptions you might be making, resulting in a plan to help ensure you’re making the best of your life, and moving in the direction you want to go.

You’re fairly happy with some aspects of your life, but need a bit more of a push when it comes to making changes! There are things you know you want to do, but life keeps getting in the way! You’ve probably got a fairly good idea of what you want to change, but are not quite sure how to go about it.
A Bit More of a Push offers weekly, 45 minute telephone calls, for a minimum of 3 months, backed up with weekly email support.
A Kick up the A***!? …
This package causes a lot of people to giggle nervously when they first see it! It’s for those of you who feel that there is never enough time in the day to breathe, let alone get round to all the things you want to do. You often find yourself running to stand still and, even though you have great intentions of getting more organised, you never quite get round to it. Or, you might have a vague idea of how you’d like your life to change in some way, but not really much of a clue about what you really want to do or how to go about it.
A Kick up the A***!? comprises an initial, face to face planning meeting, followed by weekly, half hour coaching calls for a minimum of 3 months and unlimited email support.
On line coaching …Debug Your Life
Debug Your Life is an on line programme designed to help you get started on making changes in your personal or professional life. It’s set up as a 30 Day Challenge with 7 Modules that you can work through in a place and time to suit you.
Although Debug Your Life is a self study programme, it offers the option to up-grade to the next level, which offers more personal support to guide you through the programme. This includes regular nudges delivered weekly or monthly, including questions and feedback using confidential, dedicated software, backed up with coaching calls to suit individual circumstances – great for people who want to be kept on track in an affordable way.
nudgeme coaching groups
nudgeme coaching groups are designed to focus on a particular topic or issue, such as weight loss or returning to work. They are delivered on line and are a cost effective alternative for people looking for a less expensive option than one to one. Although less personal in delivery, they enable you to work with a group of likeminded others who are struggling with the same problem.
